What is the recommended installation torque for your worm gear clamps? Do you offer specific installation tools?

The recommended torque varies by band width and series. For our standard Stainless Steel Worm Gear Clamps (9mm band width) , we generally recommend a tightening torque of 3.5 Nm to 5 Nm. Overtightening can damage the threads or the hose. While we don’t manufacture tools, we recommend using a torque screwdriver or nut driver for precision installation. We can provide detailed technical datasheets (TDS) for your reference.
